Sabry’s is a true gem. I come here a few times a month and always order the dorado it's consistently fresh, grilled just right, and incredibly satisfying. While the dorado is my go to, everything on the menu is worth trying. The restaurant clearly has deep roots in the local Egyptian community, but the staff is welcoming to everyone. The vibe is great, the food is excellent, and it always feels like a place people come back to for a reason. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food is incredibly seasoned and fresh. The bread comes piping hot out of the oven and it is amazing to pair with all of their appetizers and dips. Their platter for consists of a gorgeous array of seafood and is very generous. It literally comes with a whole lobster, grilled calamari, fish, and more. The staff are extremely friendly and are great with recommendations. Make sure to give this restaurant a try. they deserve all of their traction!! The food at Sabry is dying! The seafood combination for two will feed 3-4 people. The bread was the best bread I've ever eaten. The owner was very friendly and we had great service.

Good Egyptian seafood cuisine in Astoria. This area is a mini hub for middle eastern restaurants. We ordered 2 Broiled Bronzino fish. The meal came with a small salad, a small portion of hummus and 3 pieces of freshly baked Egyptian bread and 2 portions of rice. Fish was at the point of the totally spoiled outside, but inside was moist and soft to the point of soggy. Somehow there was no taste inside and tasted Bland, while the outer skin was bitter due to Charring. Overall, it was just okay. Bread, hummus and salad were delicious and fresh. Rice was okay. We also ordered Egyptian tea with mint, which turned out to be the highlight of the meal. This meal cost us $100 with lace.
