Pier 11 Pizza - Astoria

Absolutely LOVE this place. It was accidentally stopped and surprised. Huge pizzas and a great price made for fresh. Will be switched on again!!!

A delicious by the slice pizza shop. They make slices quickly and they come out very large and hot. They have a variety of toppings and assorted seasonings. There are a good number of drinks to add on and service is excellent and quick. Parking is limited street but they are walking distance from the core. Located in the center of the Pier 11 mall. They have limited seating but pizza is really take out anyways..

This is a good NY style pizza. Thin and chewy, HAS to be folded to be eaten. We chose to walk to the pier and eat there. I recommend planning as a take out pizza. There 's not lots of room to eat. Sodas are canned sodas and that worked for us. A couple of us had their italian sodas and they were good! The mall they are in is sorta awkward and there are no restrooms, so plan ahead. We found ourselves shopping the little souvenir/vintage treasures shop for fun unique finds. It passed the time while we waited for our pizza. Sauce on this pizza was really good, cheese and pepperoni were delicious.

The best pizza in the city, the staff is fast and attentive, the pizza here is unlikely what you usually find on the west coast. Small ground real sausage instead of the big hunks that seem standard nowadays. Super crisp crust that has a nice mild Char for taste without being burned. Pizza has only enough fat for taste, without it being the crust to maintain the hard balance and usually means really fresh ingredients. I'm definitely back.

Finally a casual, authentic, New York style pizza! Even better they use it through the pane. They make their pizza from the ground to make the dough, sauce and the crushed brand Grande Mozzarella cheese. A 20-inch pipe is cut into 8 slices. The pane is thin crispy and the cheese is cordy, the pane is wide and foldable. Take it for a walk on a plate or take it home in a box. From inside the Pier 11 building pickup window you can also order an assortment of Pellegrino flavors, Red Bull, Fountain Sodas and especially custom make your own Italian soda! It's the fastest bite to eat on the Riverwalk.
