This is one of my favorite restaurants! I'm always disappointed when I forget the days they're closed and have a craving for Thai food. My go-to dish is the spicy basil roasted rice with extra sprouts, and I absolutely love their packaging and dipping sauce. I've introduced several friends to their amazing drunken noodles. What User doesn't like about Mai Tong Thai Food:
We brought Thai food back to our motel after having a beer during our break, and it was absolutely perfect. We ordered the black potstickers, drunken noodles with chicken, and red curry with shrimp. We chose a spiciness level of 2 stars, and it definitely had some heat! I might go for just 1 star next time, but it didn't take away from the enjoyment of the meal at all. Everything was served quickly and tasted great! View all feedback.

This place embraces the unique charm of Astoria—it’s gritty and hardworking with a rich history. Embrace the moment; it’s not a beach in Phuket or a trendy strip mall in Sherwood. Take in the environment and enjoy it for what it is. Mai Tong offers some exceptional meals alongside a fantastic selection of beers. Also, they now have indoor seating and encourage patrons to enjoy their food from the truck.

Authenticity Thai food, from an amazing chef. my wife is addicted to the sweet rice and mangos.
The menu is recognizable staples of Americanized Thai. It's worth it to get an appetizer with your main as the portions are disappointingly small, with only a couple of three bites of chosen protein. I would honestly go back here again and again just to interact with and support the incredibly pleasant man working here. He's a guaranteed bright spot in your day. Medium spice was less heat than Frank's hot sauce. Be brave and go for more heat than you normally would.
