Custard King - Astoria

That's my favorite place. Old school Walkup ambience with fantastic food and friendly service. I had the Bacon cheese with grilled onions. The woman had a fish taco and the kids had fish and chips. Page of the tits. It's great. Quick service to our picnic table in the parking lot. Fish taco was a little on the small side, but my wife wasn't super hungry so she was perfectly satisfied with it. If you have a great appetite, consider that.

We have stopped by a few times for custard and decided to try the burgers today. Our big mistake was ordering one for each as we could have easily split one and had leftovers! Value far exceeded our expectations and this is no “burger stand!” The service was fantastic, price was competitive, the timing of our order was very quick and the burgers? Best we have EVER had anywhere. If you’re in the mood for old school value and quality we strongly encourage anyone reading this to stop by. We’re certain you’ll agree with us!

Fry sauce so dang good you could swim in it.. and a root beer shake so good, I motored through half of the thing before I even got my food! This quaint little burger joint didn’t go halfway… they went all the way there to 5 stars! Boom « Shake » ahh!

Was in town for a quick road trip, wanted some soft serve and found this place. I only got a cup of their plain soft serve, with cheesecake toppings. It's really good. As in, the taste is what I had in mind. I don't know about their food since we ate at a different place. If you want strict COVID prevention thing, you should probably avoid this place because everyone inside the kitchen wasn't wearing any masks. If you don't care about it, then the soft serve is worth a try.

One of the best burgers I've ever had. Husband got the Bacon Cheeseburger (figurative), and I got the Black and Blue Burger (cajun season, bacon, and blue cheese). Both very well. Open between 12 and 6 or 7 depending on the day. Fortunately, we were second in line, but the line began to form before they even opened. Definitely recommended. Usually we do not go through Astoria off the coast, we could begin to make the new route.
