After my visit, I can confidently s... read more I often drive by Castaways during my Sunday rides and have always noticed the sign claiming to have the best burger in town. After my visit, I can confidently say that’s an understatement—it should read the best burger in Florida! I ordered a cheeseburger with provolone and some French fries, and both were absolutely perfect. The fries had the skin on and were not greasy at all; they definitely tasted homemade. The burger was juicy with an amazing char-grilled flavor. The bread was fresh, and the melted cheese was wonderfully stringy and delicious. This place is absolutely worth stopping at anytime I pass by—I'm honestly disappointed I didn't try it sooner!

Our dogs loved their doggie burgers as well. We will definitely be returning! The menu is extensive with plenty of options to explore.

I wasn’t eager to return, but my fiancé wanted to give it another shot, so we did. The second time around, I’d give it 4 stars because the food was much better, especially the desserts and mozzarella bites. He also enjoyed his frog legs and alligator tail. The prices were reasonable. I did try to order an appetizer advertised on the sign outside, but they said they no longer serve it. Then I tried ordering something else from the sign, and they said that item had been discontinued for a while too. If that’s the case, they should really take the sign down and stop advertising dishes they don’t offer. It took us a while to order because three items I wanted weren’t available anymore. I ended up getting the quesadilla, which was okay. I would have given 3 stars, but they had live music that was quite good, and our server was friendly, so I’m giving it 4 stars overall.

Hands... read more A MUST-VISIT SPOT IN THE AREA! Absolutely won’t disappoint! After a day at Alexander Springs with the family, we chose to dine here and it was incredible. Hands down the best fish I've ever tasted—perfectly battered. The live country music added a great atmosphere, and our waitress, Cindy, provided fantastic recommendations. She was attentive, speedy with the service, and incredibly sweet—she even gave us hugs as we left! True Southern hospitality at its finest!
