The reviews w... read more Ristorante Villa Elda Due is part of a three star hotel and restaurant setting. We were staying nearby and thought the restaurant looked inviting. The reviews were encouraging. Service was good, and the staff went out of their way to answer questions and assist in our making dinner decisions. While the wine list had many offerings, it appeared that much of the wine was past its prime. The menu had a decent variety of offerings; however, the food was average. We expected more, but the restaurant didn't deliver.

The food was really good, and the service was excellent, from the restaurant to the front desk. The rooms had everything you need, but they were very basic but very comfortable. The cleanliness was good. The location was perfect, halfway between the town center and the village of Assisi, easily accessible on foot. I highly recommend it, especially for the attention to detail in managing this hotel. The price was fair. Special thanks to Gianna and Alessandro, two wonderful people.

Rooms with air conditioning and TV. New, comfortable and spacious bathrooms. Furniture a little dated. Restaurant that applies a 10% discount to hotel guests. Carefully prepared and good quality dishes. Follow the advice to visit some lesser-known villages that will be given to you. From the hotel you can reach, after a walk, both the lively center of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Porziuncola.
