Lovely setting in the village square. Very pleasant staff. Food was OK, but not very imaginative, particularly for vegetarians.

It always seems a little negative to criticise so we’ll start with my partner’s half-lobster, which was good enough that she wouldn’t let me taste any. I wouldn’t let her taste my tagliatelle aux crevettes because it was rank. Overpriced, pasta over-cooked and the whole thing swimming in oil. I mentioned the ocean of oil but it was greeted with a simple repetition of my complaint and a barely perceptible Gallic shrug. It’s a lovely setting in the village square and the lone waiter was as attentive as he could be, particularly when it started raining. His strategic positioning of the parasols/parapluies was a tour de force.

We had dinner in this lovely restaurant and it was simply delicious . The setting is stunning.. the whole village is beautifully restored and delightfully authentic. The square is the setting for the petit table restaurant and is so pretty. The staff were lovely and very conscientious about hygiene. The food was so tasty and well presented . We had a lovely evening and will be back!

We had the most amazing supper last Thursday for my Mother’s birthday. The chefs worked extremely hard to please all 12 of us, not only was all the plates beautifully laid out, but all the meat was very tender, plus they had to cope with two vegans and two people not eating carbs. A great atmosphere and a fabulous meal, would highly recommend the restaurant.

We made a massive effort to come here after Giles Coren review. Booked a flight a hotel and this restaurant. It’s not worth it. It looks nice but it is COVERED in zillions of Wasps so you can’t eat the dinner. The staff don’t care one jot. The dinner is absolutely below average in some weird ghost town. I’ve had better vongole all over. Cold tomatoes in fridge cold burrata. When I complained that the staff did nothing to help with swarms of wasps we were running away from the staff said the chef agrees that they are everywhere! Dreadful!!!
