The first time we tried to get a table the restaurant was fully booked. I now can see why! We ate here twice in a week. The food was wonderfully presented and was gloriously fresh and tasty. What Gnome-of-Zurich doesn't like about Wind Beach - les pieds dans l'eau:
Good location on the beach. From the road, the restaurant is advertised as Bar de la Place rather than Les Pieds dans l'Eau. The cuisine is very basic, in other words they don't kill themselves in the kitchen. The vegetables served with the fish amounted to two types of carrots, simply boiled or steamed. We had such a good meal the first time we visited we had to go back a second time. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and very good value for money. The setting on the beach at Pont Mahe was superb. A little gem!
After lovely walk from Ben-Pe on a sunny September Sunday it was great to come across this wonderful restaurant directly on the beach. The service was friendly and relaxed. The food was delicious. My partner is vegetarian and they were very accommodating for her. Would recommend it.

Nous avons apprécié les plats servis, originaux pour certainsDans les menus enfants les portions de frites étant minimalistes, nous avons demandé une part supplémentaire...........qui nous a été facturée 5 € ! Très mesquin Le service est effectué essentiellement par des jeunes sans grande expérience.
Point positif : vue splendide sur la plage.Points négatifs: 71 euros pour 2 personnes. Addition très chère pour des plats sans intérêts et fades. Exemple pour le st pierre et ses légumes : les légumes sans saveur .La propriétaire rigide et froide. Le service médiocre : il faut réclamer le pain, lo vue attente entre les plats, erreur sur l'entrée de mon mari et un seul couvert pour 2 desserts.Bref il aurait mieux valu un bon sandwich sur la plage.Arrêté de prendre les touristes pour des imbéciles.À éviter absolument.
