Came here on a public holiday and it was busy as ever. Enjoyed the steak club sandwhiches and seafood linguini! Service was so but understandable with the public holiday. Great atmosphere and good coffee View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Coffee Club:
The restaurant looks great after the renovation, but I had to leave today before placing my order because it was so hot and stuffy inside. It was the same last week, although I was able to make it through then. I've heard that the owner doesn't allow the staff to turn on the air conditioning, which seems like a poor decision. When you go out for breakfast with your wife costing $63.00 you at least expect to walk away satisfied. Guess we were wrong!!We ordered two big breakfast both meals were cold, the only thing warm was the shrivelled up over cooked sausages.I ate my meal only due to being hungry, ever since very I’ll.Supposedly hot chips still cold and raw in the middle.Both meals bacon was burnt, fried eggs could have dropped off the floor and bounced back up on the plate, cold poached eggs disgusting.Cold cherry tomatoes certainly not appealing.Thought we would give you guys another try after a previous poor experience, again we were wrong.Girl at counter asked my wife about our meals, to which my wife replied “NOT GOOD” to which she gave a reply of sorry to hear that.Nothing further like why do you say this?Or could I grab the manager for you, customer service was a tad better than the food.Salted caramel Frappe was a not a frappe note this was more of a milkshake.Felt sorry for other diners, as my wife observed meals sitting waiting for seven minutes whilst waiting for another meal for the same table. Guess they will have cold food as well.Unfortunately I could go on more but this was one terrible experience.
We have given this restaurant a few chances now and it hasnt improved, the manager blamed the chef not understanding the new menu but thats not the case. All the food comes out dry, plain and terribily put together.I ordered there new Beef Truffle burger. Bun came out burnt and un buttered, beef burger was burnt, next to no sauce and a token amount of lettuce and the chips were unseasoned and dry. The coffee club has the cheek to charge $21 for this, dont waste your money.. youll get a better burger from McDonalds.Absolutely terrible.

Hot brownie. Classy coffee.. Sensational smoothies...
Great service and staff. Shame about the food! Very over cooked chicken burger (so over cooked and fried there was hardly any chicken and the bun was burnt and rock hard and black) and very dark brown chips. Horrible meal.
