Called in for a drink as you do.Very quiet for a Sunday afternoon.Very nicely done out and a relaxed atmosphere.Only the landlord and the barmaid and 2 other cu... read more Called in for a drink as you do.Very quiet for a Sunday afternoon.Very nicely done out and a relaxed atmosphere.Only the landlord and the barmaid and 2 other customers the first time.Plenty of choice where to sit in side.A lot of photos on the walls and need to go in again to find out more. A lot of history.A lot more people in when we came back for another drink.Sat outside in the beer park and under the gazebos. The rest of the tables are not under cover.Claire the barmaid was very helpful and friendly.They do not do food anymore at the moment Well worth a visit a very friendly pub.You can not miss it on the main street.Some parking maybe 3/4 cars at most, as the rest of the car park is now the beer park with lots of tables all socially spaced.
