Oberon's Restaurant Bar - Ashland

I had my first night at Oberon's in Ashland and it did not disappoint. We went in December on a Monday night for the open mic. Surprisingly, there was a decent sized crowd. The food and service were excellent. Above all, Ashland has some amazingly talented local musicians. If you're a musician who wants to come down and play a couple of tunes, this is the place for you. It's an intimate stage with lots of character. Check it out!

I'm not from the area I'm from S D and don't look like the regulars and for that I was treated very cold my drink a vodka sprite… and clearly asked twice for a lime or 2 in the drink mind you I was 1 of 3 people in this establishment. Of course I was talked to as if I was someone who didn't belong here so I asked a 3rd time for a lime and got the eye roll of disgust and was handed the smallest lime I've seen… in my hand not the drink wich was sitting right next to my hand. Really good food and local beers. A little under staffed the day we went but our waitress still was prompt and polite.

Americanized English pub food. Very well done. My Charlie Dog was great and I really liked her Shepherd's Pie (although using lamb instead of beef would have made it better). Very good porter on tap. Quite the wall of liquor, too.

Cool pseudohippie spot in the center of town for good bar food and excellent crafted drinks.
