Oak Tree Northwest Grill - Ashland

We are on a road trip from Eugene to Yosemite and only stopped in to buy some decaf coffee. My decaf was delicious - fresh and hot. The friendly woman at the front graciously gave me cream and sugar for my coffee and topped it off, making it nice and full. This is a cute and busy place. The food coming out of the kitchen looked incredibly tasty and the smells were enticing, but unfortunately we live almost 200 miles away, so we likely won't have the chance to eat here. I didn't take any photos because I just bought the decaf coffee to go. My apologies for that.

The service at this restaurant was outstanding, with the salad and dessert being excellent. However, I would recommend avoiding the Tri-tip sandwich as it was overcooked and dry, possibly being a day or two old. Additionally, it was sliced against the grain, making it tough to eat. As someone who has been cooking Tri-tips for over 40 years, I have a good understanding of the dish. Despite this disappointment, I am willing to give other items on the menu a try in hopes of experiencing the great reviews that this place has received.

Cali eggs Benedict was great, my husband loved the gravy, but the biscuits were flat

Second time here. Excellent food and service. Yes, I added ketchup to the Denver Omelet before taking the photo.
