Quintessential New England style ice cream stand. Order at one window, pick up at another, and grab a seat at a convenient picnic table. Yes there is an indoor seating area, but honestly the experience is about being out of doors in the summer months and racing to eat your ice cream before it melts in the heat. The help here is always nice, and the prices are fair for the quality of the ice cream and food. Parking: About 24 parking spaces. Kid-friendliness: They serve ice cream, could it be more kid friendly? Wheelchair accessibility: It's all single floor no need for ramps, etc.
We came here after a 4mile hike around Ashland State Park feeling very hungry! The sad part is that the Ashland location apparently does not serve any real food besides ice cream despite the building saying seafood and burgers on it. This was very disappointing, so we drove out to their Framingham location, and while that location is not quite as charming, the food and service was great! Love finding outdoor places to go after hikes with the dogs. Hope Ashland will bring the food back again!!

Awesome Ice Cream with some great toppings. Sundae are large! Great bite after a long day. They closed their grill this year which is too bad because the burgers and fries were an awesome lunch treat. Definitely worth stopping by here for a summer tradition. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Other
