Yesterday, we had The Queen's Tea for my belated birthday and it was perfect! I want to remind everyone to bring their out-of-town friends here for a special treat, and for locals to add it to their itinerary so it can stay forever. It's a delightful experience to relax and enjoy delicious treats in such a cozy environment. I highly recommend trying the black vanilla tea with lavender and don't miss the coronation chicken salad sandwiches. Even if you're not in the mood for tea, be sure to check out the beautiful tea cups and kitchen items for sale. You can also purchase loose leaf teas to enjoy at home. Did you obsess over The Secret Garden as a child? Did/do you watch and re-watch Enchanted April, Much Ado About Nothing, and every adaptation of Jane Austen's works? Then hie thee to Lovejoy's Tea Room with all haste! The sweetest people, the perfect atmosphere, exquisite tea, and delicious food that just keeps coming (we had the Queen's Tea. Highly recommend! I live 4 hours away and am already planning to return! Truly a gem.

My first High Tea and it was so much fun! I'm not a tea drinker, but tried a bunch of teas and found a couple that I actually liked!Parking: Very hard to find parking as this is downtown. Leave yourself time to drive around to look for parking, especially if you have a reservation.
