Supposedly, Danny DeVito brings his wife here on special dates when he wants to get out of his mansion, but I have yet to see him. I 'm 72 and battling a bum ticker so I 'm hoping I get to meet him in there soon. There are only so many plain cheese slices I 'm able to eat in my life (can 't have toppings, doctor 's orders. My favorite movie of his is Throw Momma From The Train. It stars Billy Crystal as well, who I was never much of a fan of, but the two go together well. The movie is basically a plot to kill a guy 's wife and another guy 's mom, and the deal is that they have to do it for each other because they hate the women so much. It is a terrific movie. I will tell Mr. DeVito myself when he comes with his wife for their special date.
The photograph is incorrect belonging to a closed pizza shop one block down from here. Devito's Italian Eatery was closed and sold. It was originally the site of Cesari's, an Italian food and pizza shop who constructed the building. Devito's location now has the Pasta House Eatery consisting of Italian, seafood, macaroni and cheese dinners, cheese steaks, wings, salads and much more with regularly updated specials. The address is found as not only 516 W. Centre St. but also 508 Centre St. and 508 W. Centre St. It's possible they own 508-516. The Pasta House Eatery is open on a regular basis for dining in and take out. Phone 570-875-3288 or check their website for more information. Awesome food! Clean establishment. Limited parking on front, side streets may be metered by borough, subject to change seasonally.
