Arrived an hr before closing time and was told closing soon needed to order quickly then waitstaff seemed irritated ? with us and we felt very rushed and unwelcome. Shame. Food was good. View all feedback.
What fistofdestiny707 doesn't like about Bonsai Teriyaki Ashland:
Came here for an early dinner. It's a small restaurant; diner like. It was pretty smoky inside. I'm not sure if something got burnt or if the vent was down. Service was OK. They were young and inexperienced. Had trouble answering another customer's question, but they managed to navigate around it. Were still able to do their job. The sushi was decent. Don't think they match the price, though. View all feedback.
My husband and Ididn't like the food and the service at all. I can't speak for all the waitresses but our waitress was rude, cold, and acted like her customers were an inconvenience... she spent so much time on her cell phone it was almost comical. As to the food, we ordered steaks with rice and misou soup. After eating at numerous Japanese Steak and Sushi restaurants in DC, Florida, and Texas .. this food was the worse. Maybe other things on the menu taste better but the quality, flavor, texture, etc. were awful. Add on the high cost .. and no way can I recommend the dining. Only the atmosphere was decent. We won't ever step foot back in this place.
Was horrible, chicken was cold and not fully cooked, sushi was ok but fast from the best. Pot stickers (gyros) where not fully cooked cold inside. Will never go back as the waiter never even checked on us, the other waiter had to help us.
Always quick service and yummy food for good price!
Got food to go. They were very fast and friendly. We each had a teriyaki bento dish that was delicious!
