I was so happy when I got to the new location and they still had Sake. Best snake selection in the Rogue Valley. We'll be worth the price. Here I get my sake. Update 09/03/2022:Just went back there. Happy to have a reliable place to go these stocks big Sake brands. Thanks Ashland Weinkeller

My friend and I made a wine tasting here in September 2019, and it was amazing. The wine expert for the staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a good music game while we enjoyed the ambience and the wine choices were great. We loved it!

AWC has a very nice, well-fledged selection of wines, many of which are otherwise difficult to get. Just remember that the store is the stairs in the basement. The staff is very knowledgeable and I would encourage you to engage with them to help with your search. The better you know your own palate, the better they can help you. Of course you have a good selection of local, southern Oregon wines, but have an inventory far beyond. In non-pandemic times, AWC hosts a series of events and tastings, which are a great opportunity to learn more and discover new wine horizons. Their recent redesign has really improved the look of the shop. It is much more inviting than in the past. The largest knock against AWC is the limited parking space, which is a small, shared lot with a limited view. If you find a place to park on the main road (Lithia Way), I would probably encourage it. Business hours/days are also a bit incompatible so that you want to check your Facebook page what I think is usually the latest. It's nice to have another local shop that really specializes in wine. As the oldest wine shop in Oregon, Ashland Wine Cellar is a small piece of local history.

Paid tasting, pleasant conversation, and calm space. Tasting was free when I bought my favorite wine. I was glad that the clerk remembered us. I visit every year when visiting Ashland. A hideaway wine cellar!
