What Tracy likes about Wagon Horses:
Lovely rural setting with great woodland walks, which are accessed directly behind the pub. Very dog friendly in bar area and garden! Staff were friendly and welcoming. The Sunday menu was varied, with the usual roasts, burgers, salads and fish dishes. I had the cheese burger, but wasn't terribly impressed with its flavour. Will probably visit again when in the area. View all feedback.

read moreThe Wagon and Horses is a lovely family-run pub in a rural setting with woodland walks. The Sunday menu offers roasts, burgers, salads, and fish dishes. Despite some minor complaints about individual items like Yorkshire puddings and sauces, overall reviews are positive. The staff is friendly, attentive, and the service is excellent. The food is fantastic, with well-cooked dishes and reasonable portion sizes. The outdoor seating area is beautiful, dog-friendly, and perfect for enjoying the spring and summer months. Prices are sensible, and the atmosphere is welcoming. A great place for a Sunday lunch or dinner when passing through.
