The best Sunday roast I've had for a long time. the staff is friendly enough, could be nicer, the venue is nice and clean, but not the most amazing that eating was so nice that I will return. great prices and efficient...service

Somewhat disappointing. sa in open marquee, next to the parking lot. fumes from a smoker and autoabgas not great. in the pub looked beautiful and cozy. service not great. asked for a second set of drinks not get so in demand again. with desserts. Nut...Roast for veggie was very disappointing spicy. 3 on the party were happy with their toasted but not so with desserts cold custard and small portions. Note nhs discounts only for people who eat, even if they pay bill for whole family. try it again as it could have been a one-off, but not for Sunday roasts.

Despite its relative proximity to our house it is surprising that we did not visit the rose and krone before. in the did it would not have been discovered to contain her menu muscles, we probably still visit; that would have been our loss....The rose and krone proved to be a joyful, airy, clean and welcoming. some of a family-affair, we were greeted by a lady who prepared the tables in front of the building, the mother of the renter. the menu is interesting and offers a selection of different things. our selection for beginners: muskeln and king prawns packed in speck were both well cooked and very tasty. the most important courses were skate wing and battered cod. the skate was so good that she seemed to disappear with an indecent haste. the same could be said for the cod, but only the half of it could be ended before a sweet full of muscles that were cried around gnad was no longer that please. we will return to the rose and krone, it is only about five miles from the center of chelmsford, easy to find and very favorable.

Friendly staff, frying was exceptional, they can say the meat was local and the best bratkartoffeln and gravy.
