This pub is great, new owners have really made it look brilliant, it was busy when we came in with a mix of drinkers and tables, brilliant friendly staff behind the bar , good choice of beers and wines. This time we booked a table and werent disappointed, there’s a fair bit on the menu so plenty to choose from, food was fantastic We will definitely go back

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, with high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend it. The Sunday lunch was fabulous, although it is not cheap, the price is justified by the quality of the food.

What a gem! Stay here for 1 night before getting the train to France food was outstanding and the hospitality even better. Excellent room and breakfast was superb. Foolishly we forgot to get names of the Mother and Daughter team that run this fantastic little place. Will definitely be staying again. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we felt special. Wonderful ambience ‘oldy worldly’ interior of the pub itself and the bedroom modern with all the right facilities, wife loved the Prosecco in the room nice touch. Thank you for a wonderful stay
