preordered an outing for people, courses for all of us. there was a lot of eating, speciality starters were done to order, how was main and beside courts. all were exceptionally delicious and enthusiastic. also thanks for the fact that the meal is available for the collection...to the exact time we ordered. well made to the staff and cook. I can highly recommend this restaurant. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Old School House Indian:
Food was ok, Jalfrezi was not really as hot (Chilli hot) as it should have been, but had a good flavour, onion was tough and very chewy, mushroom rice very good, stuffed Paratha aslo very good, Pushy waiters leaning across to take empty dishes away...while we were still eating not very impressed by that. Tonight, adults and almost year old for a meal went here to the birthday of my son. yesterday we took the balloons, cakes and candles in preparation for today's meal. eating, the atmosphere and the service were wonderful, even to the...Koch make a special free dish for my son and free liking for everyone after the meal. very enjoyed by all of us and cannot thank them enough for a beautiful evening.
Eating from here is always delicious. we have recently moved to hamstreet and enjoyed a carbahn from here a few times. eating is always fresh and very tasty, but also good value for money.
We had a time off from the old school house to celebrate our jubilee and that was better than ever. the poured cat masala had such tender lamb and was so beautifully spiced, it was heavenly. if they wish, they would contain the mint yogurt with popadoms, or at least in the extras like chutney. that said everything was hot and perfectly cooked and spiced, I can't wait to go back!
I have been visiting this restaurant since it opened. The ambience initially left something to be desired but this situation is improving. What has not changed is the quality of the food. The menu is constantly changing which is unusual for this type of restaurant....I tend to go for unusual dishes on the menu and there are at least three of these at Hamstreet which I would recommend.
