the dukes head is our local pub and has gotten up and down, but we decided to go tonight. what a difference! eating this evening was absolutely delicious! it was really pub scrub best! we would recommend the dukes head, hamstreet completely. very friendly, helpful staff. very impressed! Wasn't busy for diners but took 1hr 15mins to get 4 meals. When they come, the portions were generous, but a little overcooked. It was however tasty enough. There was no apology for the delay. The place needed a deep clean, bar stools had dust all over them. It was all a little shabby since the last time we went. Such a shame as it used to be a great place to go for a meal.
