Visited with friends for Sunday lunch 2 weeks ago and returned again today. A little off the beaten track but well worth the visit. Lovely, traditional old pub, open fires etc. with friendly, welcoming staff, in a great location woodland walks on the doorstep so great for walkers, cyclists etc. and the pub is dog friendly. This pub is a disaster zone! The constant launching of food/events/pop ups only for them to be changed and cancelled at the last minute. We’ve never experienced anything like this, the people must be in so inexperienced and out of their depth. Opening times don’t align, their social media is one apology after another … wow.
