This is especially true if you are dining al... read more I am a local, but the George Hotel is truly an exceptional place to not only dine, but to spend the entire evening. This is especially true if you are dining alone. The staff are professional yet extremely friendly. The chef adds interesting twists to the menu without being too avant-garde. The front of house teams are accommodating and the slightly open plan kitchen allows you to see the entire process. For me, Chris Gomez, this is one of my favorite places to eat, even compared to places in London. Thank you to all the teams, both front and back of house. Great job. Regards, Chris F.

Food was beautifully presented and tasted great. Wish we had found it on our first night because we could have stayed there for the whole day easily.

The mocktails are better than London pricing and are very reasonable. Service is lovely and you feel very waited on but not too much. Also not asked how is the food which is good. It’s the worst normally in restaurants when they ask you a question mid mouthful…. Would say the pricing for the food size is a little off and give a little more food. Not a lot more. Maybe just 1/5th more
