This is a great little cafe I went there today for the first time and had a absolutely amazing fried breakfast with my mum the portion was very good and it only cost each for the breakfast and a cup of tea, it's a great cafe the staff are very friendly and welcoming I would recommend this place and I will be back again soon View all feedback.

What Benjamin B dislikes about Chilli Bite:
Great service, value for money on drinks is good. Standard cocktail is £11 which is normal. The mocktails are better than London pricing and are very reasonable. Service is lovely and you feel very waited on but not too much. Also not asked how is the food which is good. It’s the worst normally in restaurants when they ask you a question mid mouthful…. Would say the pricing for the food size is a little off and give... View all feedback.

I planned a surprise 'Tea Party ' with Trevor the owner as a thank you to my friends for all their love support this year. I knew I wanted a bespoke menu not the 'Afternoon Tea ' or 'Cream Tea ', which are just as wonderful. I was so pleased to discover that a familiar high street tearoom 'Church View Tearooms ' would be just the ticket. As a local I knew by reputation the quality of the food having gone there when I was in finer fettle, the setting, the crockery ambience would all fit the image I had of what I wished. When I rang Trevor, the owner, explaining how I wanted to have a traditional tea party that you evoke from your childhood with trifle, fairy cakes, jam tarts, sausage rolls cheese straws, he made the dream a reality, anything I asked was possible, and finer details were discussed to ensure all went well. Everything that came to our table was freshly made or freshly baked to perfection. My centre piece was a Victoria Sponge, which was beyond words to describe how it tasted, it was the 'piece de resistance ', everything left was packed up to come home too with boxes he provided. My friends could not help but relish at every mouthful they took. I can not recommend 'Church View Tearooms ' highly enough. The host, Trevor staff saw to our every need, he 's a lovely host and that adds to the whole experience. I think we should support our local businesses in this way, if I had never enquired about my bespoke Tea Party it would have never happened. So here is the biggest thankyou to an excellent five star deserving business. We have a real gem in our high street, don 't miss out on a visit!!

I am a local, but the George Hotel is truly an exceptional place to not only dine, but to spend the entire evening. This is especially true if you are dining alone. The staff are professional yet extremely friendly. The chef adds interesting twists to the menu without being too avant-garde. The front of house teams are accommodating and the slightly open plan kitchen allows you to see the entire process. For me, Chris Gomez, this is one of my favorite places to eat, even compared to places in London. Thank you to all the teams, both front and back of house. Great job. Regards, Chris F.

Lovely building and decor. Gorgeous Garden. They have rooms to stay as well. Lots of different rooms to eat and drink in. Large dining area with open kitchens. Service brilliant. Good menu. Food was beautifully presented and tasted great. Wish we had found it on our first night because we could have stayed there for the whole day easily.
