As we listened it was a argument about using the microwave to heat the pies up, a staff member was arguing that the microwave had not be cleaned for over a week. (Why microwave pies)

Guy out the back using horrific language talking to his team members. I won’t call him a chef because no chef would actually serve up the muck we were offered. The other staff were lovely. The fish once I found it amongst the soggy batter was not too bad but the chips tasted like they had been languishing for a couple of days.

We appreciated the reasonable portion size of the cod, unlike the oversized servings found at other restaurants. The scampi was delicious, and the chips were not greasy like at some other places. The menu was extensive with options like pies, burgers, grilled fish, and vegetarian choices. The service was friendly, making for a great dining experience. Overall, we had a positive experience at Tenterden Fish Bar.
