Met friends for coffee and a snack. Friendly, helpful staff served our drinks without any delay and brought our snacks to our table as soon as they had been prepared. It's a light an airy place with plenty of seating and a separate area for dogs. The tables were cleared and cleaned as soon as the customers had departed. We bring my mum here alot and love having a look round usually having some lunch in the Groves Restaurant, which is normally excellent. So thought we would book for the festive lunch (turkey with all the trimmings). I stopped by for a cup of coffee on my way home. The restaurant had COVID-19 safety measures in place, including requiring masks to be worn while moving around, promoting social distancing, providing hand sanitizer, implementing a one-way system, and spacing out tables. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a nice selection of snacks, and the coffee was delicious.
I brought my grandchildren to this cafe on the Saturday before Christmas after seeing Santa Claus at the garden center. The staff were very polite and helpful, despite being very busy. The food was served quickly, making it perfect for a light lunch like jacket potatoes with different fillings. They also had a children's menu that included a main course, dessert, and a drink all in one. The tables were quickly cleared and cleaned. The prices were reasonable. I would definitely go back again.
The customer service at this restaurant is extremely poor!! The staff is too busy chatting amongst themselves to pay attention to customers and lacks basic manners!!! They could benefit from observing the level of service provided by the staff at the nearby shop on the way out.
We called in today for a look round while on holiday locally, very nice garden centre and helpful and friendly staff. Had lunch which was excellent. . Lots of choice, served quickly and well cooked.
