Kfc - Ashford
Kfc
Description
The restaurant experience offers a mixed bag of culinary delights, highlighted by some well-cooked, fresh chicken and excellent customer service in a clean environment. However, consistency is an issue; several diners noted subpar meals with dry, lukewarm chicken and inadequate portions, even receiving incorrect orders. While some enjoyed the value of larger combo meals and the friendly staff, others lamented wasted money on disappointing dishes. Diners seeking reliable fast food may want to consider alternatives in the area, especially with varying quality in fried offerings and overall meal satisfaction.

I recently purchased a zinger burger on my way to the train station. The first bite was bitter and oily, with the zinger fillet appearing old and dry inside. It seems like the oil used for frying may need to be changed. Overall, I did not enjoy it and ended up throwing it away. That's £4.99 wasted. This experience doesn't bode well for the rest of the fried food at this branch. I would recommend going across the road for a kebab instead.
A six piece bucket for two, included four fries, large bottle of pop, and two large sides, we had coleslaw and gravy. Chicken was well cooked, fresh, and very tasty, the chips were ok, but tasted average.
THE CHICKEN WAS UNEDIBLE HARD AS A ROCK. NO REFUND NO APOLOGIES no response to my complaints when I did get through to someone the next day as I live a few miles away I told them unacceptable taking the phone off the hook said i never want to eat there again all they offered was the same meal again. CLEARLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH OR stock meat that is edible Dont get mugged off eat elsewhere
The fried chicken was not crispy as expected, it was soggy and lacked salt. Furthermore, there were no utensils or napkins provided, which I only noticed after returning to the park. It was difficult to eat the beans and coleslaw without a fork. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
I am usually not a fan of fast food, but I decided to give it a try today. I spent £16 on dry, lukewarm chicken and chips. I had to wait for the Zinger to be cooked, but even that was only warm. I was very disappointed. It seems like the food had been sitting in hot cabinets for quite some time. I would suggest serving freshly cooked chips and chicken that is not dried out.
