Contribute FeedbackThe Fish Inn has garnered a reputation for its inconsistent quality, leaving diners divided. While some patrons praise the fresh, delicious fish and chips—often comparing it favorably to seaside staples—others report disappointment with soggy batter and lackluster chips. Issues such as cold food and incorrect orders have marred the experience for several customers. However, several highlight commendable customer service and generous portions, particularly during busy periods. Despite the mixed reviews, there’s potential for a satisfying meal, provided the kitchen is on point and the ingredients are fresh.
Order always a family dinner when you visit my family in kennington, and eating is top notch, they are always happy to help and the service is excellent. also very generous portions.
Always great eating and great customer service from the young lady with the glasses.
It's always a little hit and miss when ordering delivery sites, but that was the best fishing and chips we had in a long time. we always order from here, but I dare to say that this was almost the same with fish and chips in hastings! we had 2 x medium-sized cod, cot and chips, a simple sausage, large chips and curry sauce it was hot, fresh and tasty! makes such a difference when they catch a fresh batch.
Same big fish and chips but go easy and check the new restaurant to eat them. that's worth it. also on a par with the pilot at dungeness
