We recently visited tn30 Fish & Chips (formerly known as Del's Fish Bar) with our family on a hot sunny day. We decided to enjoy a meal together in our garden, opting for fish and chips. While the fish was good, some of the batter was undercooked. The chips seemed reheated and were not enjoyable, and the saveloy was served stone cold.
This restaurant is better than the chip shop on Station Road, even though they have a smaller selection. The fish is delicious and always fresh. Seeing a long line of customers waiting to order is always a good sign of quality.
We ordered delivery from this restaurant several times last month, and each time the food arrived hot and quickly. I would definitely recommend it.
Great fish and chips, massive portions, great child meal also. Just remember they're just cash! the young are always friendly and helpful, even humble when I put on my own salt and vinegar
Go in here because we enjoy the food, however this evening the staff just ignored us. We had moved towards the counter in order to be served but the staff just didn't acknowledge us and continued to serve people who came in after us. We...walked out. Will be using St. Michael's up the road from now on.
