The dinner boxes were absolutely amazing. $12 for a large bento with heaps of variety. My cousins wife who is Japanese recommended this place due to the authenticity of food, and we were not disappointed. Very impressed with the food, although I was surprised that they don't do hand rolled sushi or just normal sushi with the nori on the outside! Anyways, a delicious meal and excellent value. we family went after shinsen since his opening years ago and was regular customers, eating was really good and reasonable price but since this year on the standard not as good as before. we can observe can change through new management or kitchen stove. View all feedback.

My go to Japanese restaurant. Food is DIVINE and everything is really fresh and good quality. See a lot of reviews hating on the food, but my experience the past 10 times have been amazing. Great and reasonable price foods with fresh seafoods. Dinner foods seems to be better than lunch but can't really complain with anything. Parking is not really a problem, you just have to know the parking info. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$60–80
My family has been loyal customers of Shinsen since it first opened years ago. The food used to be really good and reasonably priced, but the standard has not been as good this year. We suspect this might be due to new management or changes in the kitchen staff. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Lunch
