The Ashfield Lake House

Absolutely loved this place great food, beverages, and atmosphere. The bartender Chris and everyone was really nice to us.

Getting classier every day, a nice dining experience in a small town.

As a local, the lake house is a huge disappointment. The dining outside was nice, but the loss of sitting around the bar is totally lost. The food was just okay. No more burgers. Instead they offer a black bean burger. Great if your into that but really not the same as a good beef burger. Too much vegan and fish, not much else except a turkey sandwich. Prices aren’t worth the food and lack of choices. After waiting so long to be able to go back to a local hangout, it was a huge disappointment. It’s time to find a new place. Won’t go back. Also, to make matters worse, there was a hair in one parties food. I would NOT recommend going there for dinner. Great for drinks outside. That’s about it… I give t one star if that.

We had the BEST dinner at The Lake House! We were in town to elope and they couldn’t have made us feel any more special. They sat us at a table overlooking the lake at sunset. Dinner was incredible. I could have drank the marinade of the artichoke hearts it was so good! The glaze on the mustard glaze chicken thighs was to die for. I’m a huge mustard fan so it was a big hit. My husband got the shrimp salad which was incredible. Dessert was strawberry rhubarb pie which was the perfect end to the meal! Cocktail are not to be skipped, I am still dreaming of that tarragon gin lemonade. If you’re in town can’t suggest this spot enough! We’re already excited to come back and visit again.
