While many patrons laud the friendly, accommodating staff and the affordable, delicious breakfast and dinner options, there are notable grievances. Reports of moldy bread, inconsistency in food preparation, and lack of transparency regarding additional costs have marred the experience for some visitors. Moreover, safety concerns have emerged following incidents involving staff negligence. Despite these issues, there’s recognition of the restaurant's cleanliness and a generally pleasant atmosphere, making it a hit-or-miss destination for casual dining. Potential diners should proceed with caution.
The staff at this restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. When we discovered that the melted Santa drink had hot chocolate marshmallows, which my partner's son couldn't have, they quickly swapped it out for a regular hot chocolate. We will definitely be recommending this place to others.
The restaurant offers delicious breakfast and dinner at very affordable prices. It is clean and tidy, with friendly and helpful staff. The drinks are good and the atmosphere is relaxing. However, there is not much of a view to enjoy. It may not be the best choice for those looking for a scenic spot to relax, but the food is still very enjoyable.
I had breakfast at the cafe this morning and it was excellent. The food was served quickly and the staff were fantastic. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.
I went to the Hucknall Tesco today for breakfast and I will never go back. The bacon was all fat, the beans were dry, and my fried egg was hard like rubber. When I complained to the chef, he had the audacity to tell me to let him know next time if I prefer my eggs soft or hard. I was shocked. I question whether he is truly a chef. I suggest avoiding this place.
The staff were unfriendly and the value for money was very poor. My panini had a small amount of ham and hardly any cheese. Definitely not worth £4.50.
