Sarkus Express 3 - Asheboro

I ordered the hibachi chicken with broccoli but received it with carrots and mushrooms instead. I don’t eat mushrooms. I also don’t understand why all hibachi restaurants have a lower price during lunchtime, only to nearly double it for the exact same dish after 1 PM. The food was good, aside from the mushrooms, and the service was friendly enough.

The portions at this restaurant are quite generous, but unfortunately, the food lacks flavor. I tried the hibachi dish, which was bland, so I opted for the teriyaki chicken and shrimp combination. While there was teriyaki sauce on the dish, it didn't enhance the flavor at all. I even paid an extra $1.07 for ginger sauce just to add some taste. For the price, it's a decent place to eat, and the staff is very friendly and efficient. However, if they could improve the flavors in their dishes, they would definitely stand out among other Japanese restaurants.

Best Japanese restaurant in Randolph County! Generous portions, quick service, and incredibly tasty food... definitely worth a visit!

Delicious eating with large portions we had the fish meal with beautiful grilled brokkoli, sweet carrots and rice, and it was enough eating for 2 meals! the it area is simple, but clean, and the staff could not be more beautiful. great value also with simple parking. give this sweet little restaurant a visit!
