Mayflower - Asheboro

Average. Popcorn shrimp was good, but everything else was tasteless and not crispy for fried seafood. Even the potato wedges were garbage, half burned on the floors and hard as a result. Shameless. I was in other Mayflower restaurants and that was a bad example of one.

I have heard so much of the burgers (yes, I know you don't get burgers from a seafood place) well let me just say...go get a burger at Mayflower! It was great!!! Also sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked. My husband has the Captain's board. He enjoyed it.

The owner has cut the size of the Sr. plates, but not the price. The claw tastes different than before. You get only 1 small piece of fish, a small (intens) baked potato and Hush puppies for almost $10.00!!!! Plus tax. It is like stealing money from Sr. CITIZENS!!!!!! The FOOD is not so good!!!

Delicious, large piece of grilled salmon, salad and baked sweet potato. My husband enjoyed a heaping plate full of fish and shrimps.

The food was good. But the cashier was very rude!!! As far as I know, she is the manager 's niece. My husband and I walked in, that woman was not friendly at all....she took us to the table but we wanted to sit by a different table. All we said nicely was Could we sit at that table? (Just a table next to the one she took us. Guess what, she rolled her eyes, made a face and slammed the menu on that table and walked away. I SWEAR I WAS NOT EXAGGERATING!!!! What a terrible attitude!! We didn 't come here for that attitude. We are the customers, not someone who owe you money. It really killed our appetite. Honestly, if you don 't like your job, don 't work there!! Somebody please tell her not to work there. She will ruin your business!
