Older gentleman behind the counter should take part in a customer service course or have some lessons in grace and decorum. OR maybe have his P45 handed to him. Absolutely disgusting, came in for a snack with my family and didn’t even end up eating because he was so rude and patronising. Shame really, as we’ve never had a bad sub from here. During the Covid restrictions, we visited the nearby castle where indoor dining was not allowed. We purchased delicious subs and hot drinks to-go and enjoyed them in our car. It was a true oasis during a challenging time. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

The Subway restaurant maintains its usual high standards with delicious food and a pleasant seating area overlooking the city of Ashby. Thank you.

We recently stopped by a sub shop for a quick bite, but were disappointed by the poor service we received. One of the employees seemed disinterested and unwilling to help us. When we asked about a sandwich advertised above the counter, he was unsure about its ingredients, indicating a lack of knowledge about the menu. Additionally, when we requested to change the bread because it appeared torn and we were concerned about the filling falling out, the employee rudely dismissed our concerns, insisting that it would be toasted. His unprofessional behavior and dismissive attitude made us feel unwelcome, as if we were inconveniencing him. This experience, combined with a previous encounter with another unhelpful employee, has left us hesitant to return to this establishment, despite enjoying the food they offer. It is clear that the staff could benefit from better customer service training to improve the overall experience for customers.
