Staff was very unfriendly. We found a hair in our food and they explained that their cooks were all males so it couldn't have been their fault. To their credit they didn't charge us for the sandwich. Ultimately the customer service in this restaurant is lacking and we saw multiple people having similar experiences.
Let's just say food poisoning.... went on seafood night had a few things fried calms weren't done all the way . Couldn't find the waitress poor girl look like it was her first day. The Manager is was topping on the cake. She was very loud yelling at the waitresses in front of ppl. Was very very rude and yes I got sick from eating there. Never again
We hadn’t visited Shoney’s in ages—definitely not since before the pandemic! The restaurant was very clean, with tables nicely spaced apart. They provided hand sanitizer and gloves to use before serving ourselves at the buffet. The breakfast options were fresh and hot, and they also had a salad and fruit bar. It seems like they are just reopening in the southern region. We really enjoyed their fresh coffee and the friendly service! Thank you, Shoney's, for a wonderful breakfast before we headed home. We love supporting local businesses wherever we travel!
