The Okeover Arms - Ashbourne

Very nice staff, great food and good portion sizes. Good selection of beers, ample car parking. The pub is in a small village and seems to be well supported by the locals, which is good.

We happened to stop by on soft opening day with new management and new decoration. We were warned about slow service as they had just opened, and it was, but the food was good when it arrived. Lots of tables outside, with some obvious recent improvements. Best of luck to the team with the new opening.

Very friendly and helpful rental and bar staff. nothing was too much annoyed. the food was excellent and well dimensioned portions. room was clean and comfortable, with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. would not hesitate to stay here again.

The restaurant is clean and bright, featuring a very friendly and helpful staff that makes for a delightful atmosphere. They’re quite fun to chat with as well. As for the food, it was excellent! I ordered the salmon, which came with two good-sized fillets that were full of flavor, complemented by a wonderful parsley sauce. Definitely worth a visit if you're nearby!
