My husband and I were staying in our caravans at Poplars Farm in Hulland Ward, near Ashbourne. We visited this pub on Sunday for a drink and were warmly welcomed. We even played darts with the friendly regulars. Last night, on Thursday, we walked over from our caravan, which took 7 minutes. Food was very nice , chips homemade , lovely little pub with beer garden , dessert was ok a tad expensive for what it was
Black Horse a great place, friendly atmosphere excellent Food at reasonable prices. Staff cant do enough for you to make your visit special. All in all brilliant. We had a lovely meal here on Friday and popped back for a drink on Saturday while we were camping just up the road. The pub is warm and friendly and the staff are fantastic, very friendly and can not do enough for you. Patrons were friendly too. Will definitely call in again on our next trip.
