The owner, Tony, suggested trying the southern fried chicken, claiming it was the best in Ireland—and he was absolutely right! The chicken and chips in my snack box were incredibly tasty and some of the largest portions I’ve ever seen. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend checking out Macaris’ menu to anyone in Ashbourne. It’s truly one of the top takeaways in town.
