The owner, Michael, is toasting coffee from all around the world and serving it using the best espresso machine available in the market. They are also selling their home made coffee grains, powder or capsules. The place is right in the city centre and the atmosphere is awesome. To sum this up, if you happen to be in Ascoli Piceno this is a place you must visit!

They roast their own coffee and that's the difference. A great location and nice outdoor area to sit and sip. Beats Starbucks by a mile.

Except for Sunday, when TaMa (aka Michael Bar)... read more As a resident of Ascoli Piceno, good local coffee and a pleasant atmosphere are essential. Michael Bar has both. Except for Sunday, when TaMa (aka Michael Bar) is closed, I begin each day with Emidio or Michael's perfect cappuccino. This is followed at 10 am with Ascoli's best caffè macchiato, and another macchiato between four and five in the afternoon. TaMa also has a good selection of wines, beer, lunch items, and snacks. Highly recommended.
