Returning from a trekking with my wife in the woods of the hill of San Marco, we stopped at lunch in this restaurant along the road and we were very satisfied. the room, very simple, has both outdoor tables and a large indoor dining room and shows the signs of the years. It seems that time has stopped in the late '70s. tablecloths and napkins of very white and ironed fabric at a point, fast service and extremely courteous and above all excellent home cooking with very abundant portions. I did not let myself be tempted by the rich appetizer of meat, cheese and croutons because I wanted to eat first and second; so we started with delicious ascolana olives, really good. then we wanted to taste both tagliatelle and maccheroncini of fieldfilone to the porcini: really large both pasta and abundant seasoning of mushrooms. I chose a huge and tender beef cut with simple and rosemary oil to get the best goto of excellent meat. my wife instead took only a mixture of grilled vegetables and cooked vegetables. with a good half bottle of red wine of the house and two bottles of mineral water we spent in all only 50 euros: a price really more than honest. I absolutely recommend this place I will definitely return.
