We stood for ages... read more Myself and partner had just arrived and looking for a pizzeria. We decided on L 'Approdo as it looked nice and was half full so plenty tables. We stood for ages as waiters who were clearly not even busy , some standing around did not even aknowledge we werr waiting to be seated. Eventually my partner, who is Itslian greeted them with a friendly ciao . The waiter, looked at him then completely ignored him and started talking to someone else. Incredibly rude! We then left as we obviously felt very uncomfortable. We then went to pizzeria sole mare noi Tre where it was very busy but we were given a warm welcome and enjoyed great food!

Looking back I think it’s because we hadn’t booked, but they could have refused us a table if that’s how they run it. Was glad to get away on the other hand the food did look great, we only had pizza.

We chose this hotel for its perfect location (about the only positive) the menu ap... read more We stayed in Baja for a week and this was by far our worst dining experience. We chose this hotel for its perfect location (about the only positive) the menu appeared reasonably priced too. We didn’t have a reservation but it looked very quiet and we didn’t visit during peak hours. The front of house who came across as some sharp dressed Bond villain pulled his nose at our lack of reservation but whistled us over and pointed to a table for two. I chose the fillet steak and asked for medium rare. You had to order any fries or veg separately which seems to be the done thing in Sardinia however this then brings the price to 32 35 euros, when it came it was severely over cooked to the point I couldn’t be certain but was confident it wasn’t fillet. It was essentially an over cooked chunk of topside beef. We had 2 beers which were fine but overall the service was rude, the food was seriously overpriced for the produce and I urge anyone else to avoid. For a far better experience I would suggest you go to the restaurant at Punta Est hotel just up the road we went there the previous night and the food was far better and somehow was cheaper with a very welcoming and polite service from all the staff.
