What a pleasure to find Michele's pizza in Porto Cervo. I had tasted his delicious pizza in Napoli. Since then, whenever I eat pizza I compare it with Michele's famous pizza. Last night opened in this new season Da Michele Porto Cervo. The flavor and the dough are the same but the size is much larger than that of Napoli. These are to share. The best pizza !!! What Mick D doesn't like about L’antica Pizzeria Da Michele Porto Cervo:
The pizza is definitely different from Sardinian pizza. Although limited choice (only 3 types), it has delicious tomato sauce and quality dough cheese. My only complaint is that it was the most expensive pizza I have ever eaten. And a minor comment is that the lighting outside is brutally bright. It has the bright glaring light of a shopping mall. They could improve by removing half the lights. View all feedback.
We waited for over an hour to be seated and when we finally were, they ignored us. We couldn’t even get water. We waited another hour for two Margherita pizzas while multiple tables seated after us received their pizzas. Even an Italian man acknowledged how rude they were to us. When we politely asked the pizza maker the status of our pizzas, he yelled at us. No apologies once the airport quality, soggy, tomato paste, disappointment of a pizza finally arrived. Even if the pizza weren’t so gross...it’s primary toppings by the time we got them were hatred and scorn. Almost every other table was mad too and nobody in the restaurant was talking to one another. They charged us close to 80 euro.
We had dinner in this pizzeria and we have to say that was very good! Staff friendly and well prepared. Don't miss it if you go in Porto Cervo!
My husband and I had dinner here a few weeks ago during our stay in Porto Cervo through a recommendation from our host. Great pizza, casual atmosphere. We enjoyed dining outside. The staff was helpful reviewing the list of my food allergies. We would have dined here again if our stay was longer.
We decided to try this restaurant for its renoun Neapolitan pizza. We tried appetizers(buffalo mozzarella and fried dough balls) which were already very abundant(good). The pizzas were made express in a brick oven and very generous in size. A soft type dough pizza with very tasty mozzarella a tomato sauce topping. According to our Italian friends, the dessert Baba was very good quality. Overall a pleasant evening with patient and pleasant waiters, and also some live music in the background. The price was very acceptable.
Me and my husband were delighted to have recently discovered this authentic Neapolitan pizzeria while holidaying in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. We were particularly impressed by the lovely and professional members of staff whom made our evening a truly memorable one with their attentiveness and outstanding kindness . The sunset view from the terrace was breath-taking and the pizzas to die for!
