Description

**Discovering Culinary Gems: A Mixed Bag at Local Chinese Restaurant**

Nestled in Arvada, this Chinese restaurant offers a vibrant spectrum of dining experiences. While some patrons rave about the incredible sesame chicken and fresh crab wontons, others have encountered inconsistencies, notably with dishes like General Beef, which missed the mark. The service shines, marked by attentive and friendly staff who create an inviting atmosphere. Vegetarian options, especially the eggplant with tofu, are praised, adding to the restaurant's appeal. Overall, this spot is deemed a local gem, perfect for both casual dining and takeout, but diners should approach menu choices with discernment.

Very quick service. Decent Chinese food. Treasure pot nearby is better. Good backup if it is Sunday and treasure pot is closedFood: 3/5

ALWAYS GOOD! We love this place! The service is lightning fast and the food is consistently wonderful. The staff is kind and extremely accommodating. We eat here 3 or 4 times a month and the staff always remembers us and what we order. Very clean as well. This is an Arvada staple that I hope never goes out of business.Food: 5/5

I walked in with three others just five minutes before closing, and we were delighted by the incredible sesame and orange chicken. This Chinese restaurant has fantastic food and has been at the same location for ages. Food: 5/5.

I've visited the Tea Garden more than 100 times over the past 12 years. Even though it has new owners, the food and, more importantly, the recipes have stayed the same. If you had a Chinese restaurant you frequented while growing up, this place will likely remind you of it. Overall, the menu is diverse, and every dish I've tried has been excellent. However, the recent post-COVID price hikes are quite significant. I understand that costs have risen, but the increase in prices, especially for appetizers, feels a bit excessive. That's why I've deducted a star. I highly recommend trying the Combination Garlic dish!

The food choices and quality are always top-notch at this place, my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Denver metro area! Service is a little rushed. You have to ask them to slow down between courses sometimes. I also recommend the plum wine to go with your meal. It's delicious. Calamari is a fantastic starter.Food: 5/5
