The chicken vindaloo is my favorite Indian dish ever. Paired with some samosas and all those delicious dipping sauces makes for a great meal every. Single. Time. Go here now View all feedback.
Food was on point. Great balance of sweet and spicy. Will definitely be on my list next visit to Denver
We stopped in at Yak and Yeti tonight on our trip to the Denver area after seeing all the great reviews and I can definitely say we were very impressed! The service was fast and our food was delicious! We ordered garlic naan, vegetable samosas, chicken momos, chicken biryani, and butter chicken. Each dish was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We're looking forward to enjoying the leftovers later tonight ...
The buffet is back! But, with a buffet comes a great dilemma: you can't always have exactly what you want. I wish they had a schedule for their buffet, so you knew when to come for your favorite dish. Still happy to have buffet again, though!
Stopped in here on an unseasonably chilly Friday night for dinner. The parking lot was full so we parked in a residential neighborhood across the street. It was a short walk, but once Ralston Road is opened back to 4 lanes it might be a lot harder to cross. We had a short 5 10 minute wait and were seated upstairs. The restaurant's building obviously was a house at some point. This gives it a very cozy and intimate feel as there are multiple smaller rooms with various booths and tables. Our booth was next to a stocked bookshelf, so we had fun pursuing the titles while we waited for our food. We ordered the appetizer platter, cheese naan, butter chicken, and chili chicken. Everything came out at once which I didn't mind since I was pretty hungry. Our waiter didn't realize we were missing napkins and utensils, but this was quickly corrected when we got the attention of another server. The butter chicken was the overall favorite the spices were more complex than other Indian restaurants I've visited in Denver. We left feeling full, warm, and happy perfect on a cold night. Next time, we'll try the dinner buffet so we can try more dishes.
Visit this place, place your order, enjoy your meal, and prepare to be impressed. The food and beer are outstanding. Y&Y is truly a legendary spot. If possible, opt for a private room for a more intimate experience.
