The D Note is a great spot to eat, drink, and unwind in a historic storefront in Arvada, but it's important to plan your visit wisely. This venue also hosts live music, so you might encounter a cover charge or find yourself listening to music that doesn't appeal to you. A good tip is to aim for lunch or dinner and finish your meal before 7:00 p.m. The drinks are enjoyable and reasonably priced, but I've noticed that the pizza can be inconsistent—sometimes it's great, other times not so much. On the upside, they do offer a whole wheat crust option.
