Coffee Lodge is the perfect spot for those looking for almond or soy milk lattes and cappuccinos without any extra charge, making it a great choice for those avoiding dairy. The prices are standard for similar establishments in Arusha, around 5,000 TZS (approximately 2 USD). While the food offerings are mediocre with limited vegan options, there are options like the new Buddha Bowl and veganized sandwiches. The outdoor seating area is lovely with plenty of trees, and the Bistro is cozy. However, some dishes may be considered overpriced for what you get. Overall, Coffee Lodge is a solid choice for a good cup of coffee.

Fittingly so, it's called Coffee Lodge. Probably the only place in the city that offers almond and soy milk shades and cappuccinos (for no extra fee, which is great, as vegetable milk costs you an arm and leg around here). If you want a solid cup of coffee, this is the place to be. Price wise: standard of 5,000 TZS as with similar companies in Arusha (approx. 2 USD). Food is moderate with not so many vegan options. There is a new Buddha Bowl and sandwiches that you can veganize. Vegetarian burgers in the bistro can be veganized. Well overpriced for what is served. Beautiful outdoor seating area with many trees. Bistro is very cozy. Updated by previous rating on 2021-06-03

Coffee Lodge is aptly named, as it is probably the only restaurant in the city that offers almond and soy milk options for cappuccinos at no extra cost. This is a great feature, as alternative milks can often be pricey. If you're looking for a good cup of coffee, this is the place to go. The prices are standard at 5,000 TZS (approximately 2 USD), in line with similar establishments in Arusha. The food options are moderate, with limited vegan choices. They do offer a new Buddha bowl and sandwiches that can be made vegan, as well as a vegetarian burger that can be veganized. The prices may be a bit high for what is served, but the seating area is beautiful and surrounded by trees. The bistro itself is very cozy. This review was last updated on June 3, 2021.
