Food was delicious and very filling for a Sunday roast. Hot food served on a hot plate, the simple things matter. Probably didn't need the halloumi starter although it did taste good. The lamb shoulder fell apart easily, plenty of vegetables gravy to go with. Worth the £19 price tag. Would have liked the option of adding a Yorkshire pudding on it though. Service was excellent. We went yesterday fur my husbands birthday. Menu only has a few uninteresting choices. My aubergine curry was a slice of grilled aubergine on a bed of plain rice and a drissle of curry sauce in bottom of dish and a pea shoot garnish! service was poor except one attentive young man, we had to go to bar to ask for more drinks and by the end of the night our table was full of empty glasses we cleared onto a tray. Really lovely and friendly pub. Was made to feel like a regular from the moment we git there. Great place.
Nice cosy pub with a good atmosphere, great food, friendly staff and nice outdoor area. Website says they are open Mondays but I went there today and they were closed
Wonderful village pub with a great team serving delicious food. One of the best pub roasts around.
Fabulous Italian food (themed night), excellent service, and a wonderful pub garden setting.
Great pub with an excellent outdoor area in a very cute village. Staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
