What heidek120 doesn't like about Magic Wok:
This was possibly the worst take-away we have had. The Aromatic Duck had lots of small bones in it and the Sweet and Sour Chicken balls were stodgy, as was the rice. Completely different to a previous experience there. What's gone wrong??? View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. The staff is very friendly and it is a lovely family-run business. They always offer great flavors, fresh ingredients, and good value for money. They offer takeout and only accept cash payments.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and incredibly affordable. I was surprised to find it located so close to the Haven holiday park. The dishes are cooked to order and very delicious.
I was feeling a bit lazy and not familiar with the area, so it took us some time to find this restaurant as there was scaffolding on the right side of the coop. However, we eventually found this hidden gem. You can see them cooking fresh and crispy vegetables and tender meats. This was one of the best takeout meals I have ever had. The food was delicious, especially if you know your dishes. The sweet and sour chicken balls were crispy on the outside but still soft inside. The Szechuan dishes were amazing and the beef and ginger onion dish was tender and flavorful. The special chow mein had loads of meat strips and the portions were big enough that I even stopped on the way home to give some leftovers to a friend.
After moving to this area from London 4 years ago, it took us a while to discover the best Chinese restaurant. We tried many different ones, but Magic Wok is definitely the most delicious and satisfying place we've found. Nothing else can compare. Our advice is, if Magic Wok is closed, don't even bother getting Chinese food elsewhere because only Magic Wok will do.
