Description

Nestled near the seafront, Howard’s offers a mixed dining experience. While some patrons praise the vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff, and well-executed dishes like poached eggs and hearty sandwiches, others express disappointment over inconsistent service and quality. Reviews highlight issues such as delayed orders, subpar ingredient choices, and cleanliness concerns. On the positive side, many appreciate the extensive menu and the delightful Danish pastries that elevate the breakfast offerings. Overall, Howard’s remains a popular choice for those seeking a casual meal, though potential diners may want to consider the varying experiences reported by guests.

The staff at this restaurant was delightful, offering excellent service and serving wonderfully prepared fresh food. The Danish pastries on offer were particularly tasty! A visit to this restaurant is definitely worth it if you are in town!

Lovely cafe to go and visit. Lots to choose on the menu. Indoor/outdoor seating. Dog friendly outside. Close to the town and beach. Staff are friendly

We love this cafe, great range of dishes on offer and the staff are so friendly- the way they look after their 'more senior ' customers was heart warming.

We stopped at Howard’s for a coffee and breakfast, very good service and the food was great. We ordered the poached eggs and we were not disappointed, well cooked but yolks still runny. Friendly stall and reasonable prices.

OK, so not a full meal, just a coffee and a sandwich while shopping. Staff were helpful explaining things to customers, very friendly and polite. Sausage and caramelised onion sandwich sounded good, so that is what I ordered. Coffee came quickly closely followed by the sandwich. Well cooked sausage and plenty of it, a nice helping of onion and toasted to perfection. Warm, satisfying filling food. I would happily go back and try something for lunch. I thought the sandwich was a little expensive for what it was, but after eating it, I did not begrudge the cost.
